Bruce Banner Cannabis Seeds
Bruce Banner is an approximately 60/40% Sativa-dominant love child of OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel. Named after the imposing Hulk’s alter ego, this powerful, high-THC strain causes powerful, invigorating effects. From sitting on the couch and enjoying movies to giving a new spin on things as you go about your day, the potent, uplifting high can be enjoyed in all kinds of settings.
The thick, resinous buds are bright, intense green, hence the name! The orange pistils and dense layers of trichomes complete the frosty look, and the aroma is sweet and earthy with hints of citrus. Like its alter ego, Bruce Banner is known to pack a powerful punch, with THC levels upwards of 25%.Â
Flavor & AromaÂ
Bruce Banner offers a distinct, captivating flavor which is a harmonious blend of earthy, sweet tones and a more subtle diesel, spicy, and citrusy undertone. The balanced combination makes Bruce Banner both memorable and complex, making it a favourite for cannabis enthusiasts who want bold, yet smooth flavors in their bud.Â
Effects & Experience
Bruce Banner is a 60/40 hybrid that packs a powerful punch. You’ll get a strong, uplifting high that lifts your mood and creativity, followed by a light body relaxation that chases away stress and tension. This strain is a hot favourite for daytime use and social gatherings.Â
A word of caution, Bruce Banner often contains upwards of 25% THC, making it an extremely potent strain that isn’t for the faint-hearted.Â
Cultivation TipsÂ
Like many other Sativas, Bruce Banner isn’t a strain that is suitable for beginners. The plant flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and reaches 150 cm indoors and 210 outdoors, so keep that in mind if you need to conceal your grow from prying eyes. In addition, mature plants have a strong aroma, making them yet more difficult to conceal. If you want a quicker harvest, think about the smaller, autoflowering variant, which flowers between 7 to 8 weeks.Â
Indoors, the yield is typically 500 to 600g per square metre, and outdoor plants yield about 500g a plant. This strain likes a warm, dry climate and does well in temperatures that are 20-27°C during the day and 15-21°C at night. Keep humidity at 40 to 60% during the vegetative stage and a maximum of 50% during flowering to prevent mold and bud rot. And of course, like all other strains, feed nutrients according to the stage of lifecycle that your plants are in.Â
Terpene & Cannabinoid ProfileÂ
Bruce Banner is a high-THC strain that often contains upwards of 25% THC, with some plants testing as much as 32%. The main terpenes present are caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene.Â
Known Medical Benefits
The uplifting effects of Bruce Banner have often been used for the treatment of stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. In addition, the strain can be used for pain relief and appetite stimulation. Because it is Sativa-dominant, it might not be effective in treating insomnia. Note that Bruce Banner is a powerful strain and should be used with caution, especially if you aren’t used to high-THC cannabis!Â
